Since 2006 we have provided professional search engine optimization services and social media marketing to businesses looking to grow their online traffic. Our Name

McKremie is pronounced [Mick-Crem-ie] this is a frequent question as well as how we came up with our name.  When the company was started we didn’t want to be another ‘insertkeywordhereseo.com’ name.  We wanted a brandable name that would stand out. 

The company founder Stuart McHenry has a daughter, Lexy.  When his daughter was very young and just started talking she had a hard time pronouncing her name.  When people asked her name she would tell them her name was ‘Sassy McKremie’.  She earned the nickname ‘McKremie’ and for years would be called this by friends and family.  Fast-forward a few years when Stuart was looking at naming his company he felt it would be brandable and a great tribute to his daughter.

As the President of McKremie Stuart also leads the team of organic search engine optimization. Over the past eight years he has focused on driving natural search engine traffic via link building and social media marketing. Stuart is also the main contributor to our blog where he shares his insights and Internet marketing knowledge.

He started out in 2003 doing search engine optimization for a medical supply company. He achieved numerous first page rankings in both Google and Yahoo and the company received multiple offers of purchase and was later sold mainly due to his efforts.

In 2004 Stuart founded SEO Fusion a search engine marketing firm based in Palm Springs, California. SEO Fusion grow mainly from word-of-mouth and within months had clients from the USA and UK. To grow the business Stuart decided to re-brand the company name so they could expand services and use a more brandable name.

In 2006 he founded McKremie as a web development company that included web hosting. McKremie grew quickly and it's three main services were web design, web hosting and SEO. Today McKremie has narrowed their services to search engine optimization and reputation management to better provide quality for our clients. McKremie provides SEO for numerous local clients as well as national and international search engine optimization campaigns.

Anna Mackey
Director of Reputation Management

As the Director of Reputation Management Anna works with our clients that need help with their online reputation management. She works closely with our search engine optimization and social media teams to strategically promote positive brand mentions for our reputation management clients. Internally she is responsible for maintaining, training and measuring the best practices for our organization.

Anna has over a decade of hands on experience with client services and social media. Prior to joining McKremie she ran a successful fashion eCommerce company where she was responsible for the buying and day-to-day operations. Today she still enjoys fashion and when she's not shopping she can often been seen as a guest blogger on numerous fashion blogs.

Shannele Marissa
Content Production Editor

As the Content Production Editor Shannele uses her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication from CSUSB to ensure content quality. She also oversees our team of writers and facilitates assignments.

Shannele also heads up our video production and editing team. While attending CSUSB she minored in Film Studies and has developed a passion for film editing. More recently she has been expanding her role to include video production for our clients.
